moleskinerie published part of my arizona journal!

click here for the full article or just read part of it below:

I am a Moleskine fanatic. My shelves and my purse are completely filled with finished and unfinished books. My favorite Moleskines include the large 100 page sketchbook and the watercolor books.

My work sometimes leans to haunting innocence - - - I love that simplicity can reveal so much emotion. I always start with my Faber-Castell pencil and then I ink using a Sakura pen.

When traveling, I love to add local images into my Moleskines - - - grab every single local paper, advertisement, and pamphlet and cut it for your use. I only trust the Judikins cts11 scissors and office depot acid-free glue sticks.

dan in real life

mike and i went to the arclight to see dan in real life - i was not impressed. there is absolutely nothing appealing about a character that is so self loathing, selfish, and so self deprecating. sorry for the alliteration but what a creep!... i tried to like the guy but it was pointless. rent it.

excerpts from my moleskine diary of arizona

it was a quick flight and we arrived in phoenix. our breakfast burrito breakfast came with a fortune cookie: "get ready to do something daring"

the roads were long and barren. we saw camel back mountain and a lot of cacti on our way to scottsdale.

we went to the suns game in pheonix. my favorite player was nash. i thought l.a. was just a bunch of thugs.

we stopped for lunch at king's fish house.

we headed back to the hotel and i took a long dip in the jacuzzi under the starry skies.

at the phoenix suns game vs. the lakers

okay, i am very passionate about los angeles and i will be its long life ambassador. however, i must say that the lakers are a bunch of mean pushy gangsters. they did not play nice with phoenix. i was embarrassed that they are from my city.

they had this monkey thing going on. don't all men do anyway?

drinks at the stratosphere

i was kicking and screaming when i got the word that we were going to vegas. then, when i got the word we had to go to the stratosphere i became an untamed banshee. well.... my, my it was quite a lovely surprise. clean smooth bar with a delightful staff. the view? unbelievable. it was incredibly majestic.

we had a pina colada, irish cream coffee, and a kioki (kaluah and brandy - also the waitresses favorite). they were perfect.

one night stand halloween costume to make yourself

this one night stand halloween costume is perfect for those parties over 18. i took left over foam core, a bunch of "household" items, a trashy outfit (why is it that the naughty catholic school comes out on halloween?), and some packing tape to make this killer one night stand outfit.

i would love if you made this costume yourself. here are the complete instructions in pdf form. If your browser is a bit slow, click on the image files below.

make this fabulous costume, serve wine out of plastic cups, and win that halloween prize. please do not forget to send me pictures.

love and kisses. oh, and boo.
