this was the start of a great weekend at the san diego fancy food show 2008 reporting for chocolate-snob

we are seated at the san diego wine and culinary institute for the lombardia wine tasting and dinner.

the lombardia cheese, the lombardia wine, the lombardia people were just incredible!

enchanted at the el capitan

mike took me on a date to see enchanted at the el capitan. fabulous! there was the enchanted experience after and it was an incredible fairy tale.

new years day.... wearing white, we said our thanks and wishes to yemanja at santa monica. we sat on the beach after we tossed our offerings in the ocean. mike asked if i would marry him. i said yes. we celebrated at hot dog stick.

i totally love belinda and i am a total francophile. it was really too bad that she did not have her songs memorized and that she did not blend in some english tunes so that audience would not fall asleep on new year's eve.

nevertheless, i had a great time even though snoring was provided by audience dolby surround sound.
